Ever hear of Pepsi made with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup? We wanted to try the two different Pepsi’s side by side.

The Downtown Philly Cheesesteaks is so delish! My favorite is their Pastrami: Pastrami , Provolone, Pickles, Mustard, Mayo, Tomatoes & Lettuce. Simplicity at it’s best. Everything tastes so fresh. Their bread is something out of this world, soft, yet chewy. If you join their Facebook Fan page, you’ll get notifications of really great specials, like todays! YUM!

I had a long day today, it’s almost 8:00 pm and just now had a chance to take my photo for the day. This is our other dog Chloe. We’ve had her for six years. She’s also an Italian Greyhound.

Today is DH’s “milestone” birthday… 40! He doesn’t really like cake that much, so I went to Dippidee and bought one of these cute little cakes. It’s so cute!

I cooked spaghetti tonight for dinner. The colander was in the sink waiting for the noodles. The different layers of light through the holes caught my eye.

I spend too much time logged in and I have it on my phone too! I’ve been better lately, but still need to spend my time in better ways. Anyone else addicted?

We get our new couches and chair tomorrow, yay! We’ve had these couches though four moves. They’ve lasted a long time. It’s past time to retire them…

A good friend introduced me to this deliciousness. You simply MUST try it whenever you are in downtown Salt Lake City, UT. Bruges Waffles & Frites. Visit their website and read about the Belgian pearl sugar used in the Liège.
My favorites are an order of Frites with Garlic aioli and a Cinnamon Liège with Crème fraiche and either strawberries or raspberries. The owner Pierre is very friendly and entertaining. He treats the “regulars” wonderfully, he knows them by name, but also treats everyone as a long lost friend.

I had a hair cut and color scheduled today at Cake Hair Salon. They have this really cool brick wall. I’ve loved this little piece of wood amongst the bricks since the first time I saw it! There are some other great architectural features that I’ll take pictures of through the year, but wanted this to be the first one.
