127 – Bokeh
May 7, 2010
Bokeh from Wiki:
In photography, bokeh is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image, or “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light.”

125 – Magenta
May 5, 2010
Eastern Redbud in a neighbors yard.
From Wiki: The flowers are showy, light to dark magenta pink in color, 1.5 cm (½ inch) long, appearing in clusters from March to May, on bare stems before the leaves, sometimes on the trunk itself.
111 – Lily
April 21, 2010
Lily of the Valley are starting to bloom. I transplanted these from my Grandma’s house in Vernal before she sold it. The first couple years they didn’t spread very much, but I think this year we may thin them out a bit.
109 – Metal
April 19, 2010
Taken in front of the Metal Arts Foundry in Lehi.
The inspiration came from:
The Daily Shoot assignment for 2010/04/19:
It’s metal Monday! Find a metallic subject today and make an interesting photo.
107 – Chard
April 17, 2010
Red Ruby Swiss Chard
I am going to submit this photo to the challenge for today. It’s my first time submitting something there.
Break a rule today! Centered composition is generally considered boring and taboo, but can be interesting. Try it!

106 – Forsythia
April 16, 2010
One of my neighbors has a Forsythia in their front yard and kindly let me take a few pictures. Also, my Flowering Plum is starting to blossom!
87 – Shells
March 28, 2010
This photo really makes me want to go to the beach! These are Roo’s collection of shells from different beaches. They’ve been outside on the table all winter.
85 – Drops
March 26, 2010
This is off the hood of my SUV. The weather was doing the normal “spring in Utah” today. Earlier it was sunny, then started to rain, followed by snow. I was out doing my school carpool run and noticed the water drops as I was pulling into the garage. Used the side window in the garage for the light source and shot it so the light was reflecting on the hood. The picture turned out pretty well I think.
